An old shop on the Sunny Road — it still wears its Shōwa-era ice-cream signs — reborn as a guesthouse, garage bar and everybody’s playground. Surfboards on the ceiling beams, a wood stove in the corner, a chalkboard of local drinks. One guest called it “a secret base for grown-ups.” We’re not going to argue. サニーロード沿い、昭和のアイスクリーム看板をそのまま掲げた古い建物。それがゲストハウス兼ガレージバー、「人と人がつながるみんなの遊び場」に生まれ変わった。天井の梁にはサーフボード、隅には薪ストーブ、黒板には地元の酒。ゲストいわく「大人の基地」。否定はしません。

Temple 37 to Temple 38 is the longest stretch of the whole 88-temple pilgrimage — days of coastline with your own thoughts. Tosashimizu is where you break it: Kongōfuku-ji at Cape Ashizuri is 13 km on, one more good morning of walking. 岩本寺（37番）から金剛福寺（38番）までは、八十八ヶ所でいちばん長い区間。海沿いを何日も、自分と歩く道のり。その区切りが土佐清水。足摺岬の38番まではあと13km、いい朝ひとつ分。
